My name is Igor Kozlitin. I live in Kiev.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by information technologies. Therefore, when my age described me as more or less mature, I began studying Computer Science at the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI".

While still studying at the university I started my career in a software development company where I was responsible for the implementation and maintenance of banking software. Our company was at the cutting edge in a technological sense in Ukraine at that time so it was an invaluable experience for me.

Soon, I received an invitation from a large Ukrainian system integrator to join its IT department. As part of a great technological team, I was engaged in extremely interesting projects related to the development and support of financial information systems.

Over the years, aspiring to new knowledge, I began studying finance at the University of Economy and Law "KROK" and successfully graduated.

The area of telecommunications interested me for a long time, so when I received an offer from an internet provider company with old traditions I accepted it with pleasure and was supporting its telecommunication infrastructure during the next few years.

Having started education with cybernetics and continuing in finance, I was very interested in the application of cybernetics ideas in the management domain. Yet Stafford Beer, one of the pillars of cybernetics, said, "Cybernetics is the science of what management is the profession". That's why, in 2007, I applied myself to studying "Project Management" at the University of Economy and Law "KROK" and eventually obtained my Master's degree.

Currently, I am employed in an international company where I am responsible for the support and development of information systems in the area of finance and accounting.

I am a member of the Ukrainian Project Management Association (UPMA), and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
